Driver of the Month: Justin!
May marks five years at Badger Cab for Justin Novshek. Which is rather longer than he was expecting this temporary job to last. After graduating from UW-Madison with a degree in film (Communication Arts - Radio/TV/Film, BS), he found himself without any obvious job prospects or skills, and no desire to move back in with his parents.
After delivering pizza for a while and realizing how much of a scam it is, he tried to find a more respectable job, such as a pimp. But before things went that far, a friend suggested driving for Badger Cab. And with his freakish talent for remembering streets and directions, he soon found himself working fulltime out of a full-sized Ford.
As to personal details, he is a Capricorn and not that fond of walks on the beach. More seriously, he was born in 1983, in Port Washington, Wisconsin. He spent the next 18 years living there with his family, which includes both original parents, a younger brother, and a younger sister.
Despite being far more intellectual than athletic, he did gymnastics for a couple years and four years of cross country in high school. (His father gave him the choice of that or paying for car insurance. He did not find it to be a hard choice.) Justin also managed to find time to play the clarinet in the school band and graduate fifth in his class.
Justin enjoys computer games and has driven motorcycles since he was 16. He likes science fiction and non-fiction, but doesn't read as much as he should. He also will admit to watching more anime and cartoons than is probably healthy.
His dream is to one day be a movie director for Marvel Studios, or its DC comics counterpart, maybe driving cab will get him there, you never know who you might meet in a Badger Cab.
